This novel is a masterpiece written by Jay Asher and it is a sad story about why a girl committed suicide. Clay gets tapes from Hannah, a classmate that recently committed suicide in the mail, the tapes contain the thirteen reasons why she committed suicide. Each person that played a part in her death is sent the tapes and if they try to destroy them someone will release the information to the public. Clay listens to the stories of Hannah's abuse and begins to understand why she did the unthinkable. This book helps us understanding why some people commit suicide and it is a extremely unique book because of it.
