The Future of Us

It's 1996 and computers have just begun their reign as supreme devices. Josh and Emma are friendly neighbors, until last November, when Josh receives a free copy of AOL he goes over to Emma's house to install it. When they log in though they are directed to Facebook years before it has been created. With the ability to see all their status updates and photo's they can literally see their future and with this knowledge they begin to act with it in mind ridding themselves of what they believe to be problems. This book shows us the changes that can happen over the years and the what we try to do to stop the future. The future of us is Jay Asher's first book and it is quite different from Thirteen Reasons why, i.e. it has  a much more optimistic vibe.
