Charmed Life

       Eric "Cat" Chant and his sister Gwendolyn, a powerful witch move, to Chrestomanci castle after spending years with a foster parent, Ms. Sharp. Gwendolyn tries to use her witchcraft to force Chrestomanci to appreciate her powers by doing great feats of magic that cripple his gardens and endanger his children. Chrestomanci ignores Gwendolyn until she crosses the line and Chrestomanci takes away her witchcraft as a punishment. Gwendolyn runs away to a parallel world, leaving Cat behind and a replacement Gwendolyn, called Janet gets thrust into Eric's world to balance the sudden exit. Gwendolyn has always controlled Cat, ordering him around and never sparing a thought for him. Since Janet replaced Gwendolyn Eric has seen how a real sister is supposed to act and when Gwendolyn returns he fights back against here witchcraft with a seemingly newly found power.
